There are different kinds of gifts that you can leave in your Will:

1. A gift of a percentage of your estate that is left over after special bequests to your loved ones are taken care of – known as a ‘residuary’ bequest.
   

1. A fixed sum, known as a ‘pecuniary’ bequest.
   

1. An item or other possessions rather than money, known as a ‘specific’ bequest.
   

We always suggest that you consult with a solicitor to make or update your Will, however we can provide suggested appropriate forms of wording if you wish.
